Universal Commerce Protocol testing
The UCP Playground is a browser workbench for Universal Commerce Protocol storefronts. It connects to a UCP profile, finds the available commerce tools, and lets developers test product search, cart updates, checkout calls, and merchant handoff links without writing a custom agent first.
Use the playground to confirm that product search, cart updates, and checkout calls work with the same inputs an agent will send.
Inspect the request body and server response side by side. The page keeps the visible cart in sync only after the UCP server accepts the update.
The playground shows hosted checkout links, embedded checkout attempts, advertised links, and expiry data so teams can see where the buyer continues.
Use the UCP Validator to check whether the public profile is valid. Use the UCP Playground when you want to run the commerce flow: search products, add variants to a cart, test checkout, and inspect the exact protocol evidence.
